The Mission of our neighbors to the south, located in Lake & McHenry Counties, IL, is to improve and maintain the Fox River and Chain O'Lakes public waterway for recreational uses, to restore environmental quality, control flooding, promote tourism and to preserve and enhance the quality of life along the waterway for residents and users alike. They ultimately get all of our water.
